Sharon is the founding attorney of Hotchkiss Law Firm, PLLC and has been practicing law for over 30 years. For the first 15 years of her career, Sharon was a civil litigator successfully handling hundreds of cases involving disputes over real estate, intellectual property, business contracts and family law matters. While there was some pleasure in helping bring a resolution to disputes, Sharon came to the realization that she would be much happier helping people by keeping them out of conflicts, out of court and protecting their assets from other litigants.
About 15 years ago, Sharon left litigation behind, and currently works closely with officers and Board Members of non-profit organizations and small business, assisting them with day-to-day legal issues, contract review and intellectual property. Her main areas of practice are business transactions and trademark prosecution.
Sharon is honored to represent the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, two of the most prestigious museums in Dallas, TX. She also has a passion for animals and represents and volunteers for numerous animal welfare and rescue organizations. Sharon loves spending time with her own rescue dog.
